I love you as certain dark things are loved, secretly, between the shadow and the soul.

Anna and the French Kiss is a great book for people who wants to fall in love. I think that this book is very relatable – I believed that all of us have had crushes who were “untouchable” or out of our leagues. Anna believes that St. Clair, her new best friend, is somebody she can’t fall in love with – but in the end, she can’t help it anyways. This book somehow shows reality- how simple yet complex love and relationships can be. And that there are things that are just out of our control and there is a right time for everything.

Moreover, the characters and their interactions are so cute. This book, for me, is very well-written. It has short chapters which adds to the thrill. And the language is very appropriate for everyone.

This book made me fall in love with another fictional character. I giggled too much and smiled like I’m the one in the process of falling in love. This book gave me the good ‘butterflies in the stomach’. And I do hope that someday, I’ll find the love Etienne/St.Clair gave.
